There are two primary choices in life: to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.--Denis Waitley
How is your life working out for you? Are you dissatisfied? How did this happen? Weren't you doing the best you could? I spent the vast majority of my life doing what I thought was right. There I was in my late forties with my life a mess. I was just barely alive, suffering from depression, my marriage was in a ditch, everything I had believed to be true, wasn't and I was feeling hopeless and helpless to change anything. I had no idea that my thoughts, beliefs and expectations had created my life and all my experiences. I prayed for help (finally), and books and people came into my life to explain the way the universe works. Once I understood that, then I had someplace to go. Then I could accept the responsibility for changing my thoughts, beliefs and expectations. And I created a new and better reality.
Are you open to new thoughts, or are you firmly convinced that you already know how it all works? After all, you were told by the Voices of Authority (VOA) in your life. Shouldn't you believe that? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe they were told by their VOA, who were told by theirs, who were told by theirs... But what if they didn't have it quite right? Isn't it ok to question what we were told? Their life experiences, based on their choices, based on their beliefs and expectations created what they experienced. Which validated that they were right. That's how it works...
But what if we are creative beings and our thoughts, beliefs and expectations can create anything? We don't have to live in a world filled with unhappiness, or fear, or lack or misery or pain or any other negative experience. We have the ability to change what we think, believe, expect and experience. I have. I discovered ways to heal my body and heal my traumas and heal my marriage and created a beautiful life. You can too.
Have the courage to be open to the notion that there might be things you don't know, the knowing of which could change everything. Maybe your VOA didn't have it quite right. Maybe there is no "Destiny" or "Fate". Maybe we can choose our experiences. Quantum Physicists have discovered that the beliefs and expectations of the scientists affect the outcome of their experiments. Hmmm... We affect the universe around us...
Will you accept responsibility for your own life?...or simply live unconsciously, letting things happen to you, and hating what you get?
Love and Blessings,
